Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center presents, “Renewable Energy Program- Solar Buy Program” from 5:30-8:30pm. Chequamegon Bay Renewables is a handful of volunteers focused on making renewable energy more accessible in our community. We achieve this through education, resources, and initiatives such as a solar buy program. Solar Group Buy programs have been successful in other areas of Wisconsin and the nation. They are often initiated by groups like Cheq Bay Renewables. Our group buy program is unique in that there are no additional fees – all of the cost savings gets passed on to you. We feel that now is an opportune time to move forward with solar. The 30% federal tax credit is only offered through 2019 (lower rates are available through 2021). Come to the program at the Visitor Center to learn more about a local solar buy program. For more information, call 715-685-9983 or visit www.nglvc.org.
