The City of Ashland has 2 Camp Grounds. These campgrounds are on a first come first serve basis. Firewood to be used at the City of Ashland Campgrounds must be purchased in Ashland.

Kreher Park, which is located on Lake Superior is an RV only campsite.
Kreher Park has bathrooms, showers, water & electric hook-ups and a pumping station.

Daily Camping:
Non-Peak (May, June, Sept, Oct) $25/night
Peak Rate (July and Aug) $30

Weekly:
Non-Peak = $150
Peak = $180

Monthly:
Non Peak = $575
Peak = $690

Prentice Park has tent camping as well as pop up camp sites.
Camping at Prentice Park is suitable for tents and smaller RV units. Prentice Park campers are permitted to use the shower facilities (the shower are open from 6am-10am and 6pm-10pm) and the dump station at Kreher Park for no additional cost.

Prentice Park has restrooms, electric hook-up and an artesian well. RV Camping fees are $20.00 for pop-ups’s and tents $15.00.

Weekly fee  Tent is $90.00.  RV is $120.00

Newly upgraded Campground is adjacent to the resort and has both tent and RV sites with and without electric and all with gorgeous views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands. The shower and locker facilities are just steps away on the east wing of the resort. These facilities are also available in the winter months for snowmobilers to utilize for their gear when they visit Legendary Waters Resort & Casino. offers 47 slips for both seasonal and transient docking.

Our Point Detour Campground offers rustic yet scenic tent camping for the more adventurous campers. Located approximately 12 miles north of the resort, Point Detour Campground is peaceful and secluded.
