1st Annual Strength in Chequamegon Bay 5K at Krehr Park, 200 Prentice Ave N in Ashland, from 9am-11am. Join our 1st annual Strength in Chequamegon Bay 5K event. This is open to walkers/runners/joggers. All race proceeds benefit the Northwest Wisconsin Compassionate Care Fund through the Essentia Health Foundation at our Ashland Clinic. Your fundraising dollars directly serve patients. All funds stay in the Chequamegon Bay area and serve patients receiving treatment in the cancer center. These funds provide families with gas cards, hotel stays, gift cards, etc. Cancer treatments are expensive and this Care Fund is designed to help with some of the financial burden for families. Let’s support and show the “Strength” that our community has by registering for this event and getting friends/family involved as well.
