Ashland Mural Walk

Historic Mural Capital of Wisconsin since August 2005.

The eight-block Main Street business district, listed on the National Historic Register of Historic Places, is the background for a fascinating walk through Ashland’s history as seen through the eyes of mural artists Kelly Meredith and Susan Prentice Martinsen. Over twenty murals, throughout Ashland, starting from the corner of Ellis Avenue and Main Street, continuing on streets going west in Ashland’s Historic Downtown, as well as on the east side of Main Street and by the Ashland Middle School. The murals depict people and events from Ashland’s past. Our vibrant murals can be seen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!  Click here to view the murals.

The Ashland Mural Walk has expanded throughout Ashland County… where you can Follow the Mural Brick Road.
