The WITC Foundation is sponsoring an event to raise funds for scholarships. “Taste of the Vineyards", is a wine tasting that will be held 5-7pm, Friday, April 9th. Tickets for this event are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased from WITC-Ashland, Northern State Bank locations, Star Liquor, and the Ashland Chamber of Commerce. Trout Unlimited is sponsoring a Fishing Expo & Auction, starting at 3pm. Auction is at 6pm with proceeds going to area stream improvemnet project. Our Dweebs Family night at the Bay Area Civic Center. This dance will be structured in a way to invite individuals and families to gather together and have an evening of fun, music and dance. Cost of admission will be $10.00 a person or $20.00 a family.
Festivities will start at 4pm. There will be clowns for entertainment, balloon tying, face painting and various games. The adults can join in, mingle and view the wonderful raffle and silent auction items. In addition there will be a regional representative from the National Bone Marrow Registry on hand. Also during this time Hugo's Pizza will be on sight to sell pizza by the slice with all the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

Benefit Concert for Faith In Action at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Richie Yurkovich and Polkarioty will bring a lively blend of polka, waltz, country, and cajun to the stage. To round out the program, old time music and ballads will be played by Ben & Kaia. $7 donation at the door. Hot beef sandwiches, chips, coleslaw, and desserts will be sold starting for $4/plate starting at 1:00. Music starts at 1:30 pm. 50/50 raffle.
